Asvape Michael VO200 TC

We all love beautiful mods and the Asvape Michael VO200 TC is by far one of the sexiest out there. This stabilized wood and metal powerhouse is tweaked to perfection and delivers vapor like no other. Controlled by the exclusive VO200 chip it ensures a smooth, consistent and lag-free experience every time you press the button.

Packaging and contents

The Asvape Michael VO200 TC comes packed in a very glamorous looking top hinged box. Inside you will find the mod itself, the user manual and a micro USB cable. There are two color themes to choose from – Walking Dead and Devil’s Night Edition – and both are inspired from Japanese anime.

The design

The mod measures 92mm x 60mm x 28mm and it’s a pleasure to hold and use. The stabilized wood and metal finish gives it that luxury vibe and build quality is really good. Outer shell is made from durable zinc alloy with gold accents. Has the fire button, OLED display, adjustment button and micro-USB slot on the main side, with the battery door on the base.

On top we have a cool looking 510 connector fitted with a spring loaded center pin. It’s size is perfect for 24-25mm atomizers but you can go even higher without overhang. To access the battery compartment the door on the bottom easily slides off. The Asvape Michael VO200 TC takes two high drain 18650 cells as it’s capable of reaching a maximum output of 200W.

The things we don’t like about the design are the battery door system and the adjustment buttons. Battery door can slide off when you grab your mod from the desk and pull it towards you. It only has a magnet that keeps it in place and no hinge or anything like that. Adjustment buttons are also a bit weird with up being on the left side and down on the right. It’s not a deal breaker but definitely something worth mentioning.

The VO200 chip

The VO200 chip is designed in the US and it’s one of the most responsive boards we tried. It features adjustable wattage between 5W – 200W, temperature control, bypass mode, and power curves. TC works between 212F – 572F (100 – 315C) and there are presets for Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel. There are five user-defined power curves to choose from and these are great for customizing every second of your draw.

Asvape Michael displayThe Asvape Michael VO200 TC has upgradeable firmware and a tool to customize your logo. Safety features include low battery protection, low resistance protection, reverse polarity protection and short circuit protection.

Performance

The Asvape Michael VO200 TC is not only about looks, it’s also about performance. The VO200 chip is very responsive, reliable and hits as hard as a locomotive. Variable wattage, TC and Bypass work like a charm and battery life is very good. Asvape will definitely improve the user interface and settings in the future so we’re waiting for their firmware upgrade. Overall, a beautiful mod with great performance and lots of style.
