What you get inside the box
The GeekVape Aegis Legend 200W TC starter kit comes packed in a black cardboard box. Inside you will find the mod, the Aero Mesh sub ohm tank, a 0.15 Ohm coil, a 0.2 Ohm coil, a bubble glass tube, a bag of spares, the micro-USB cable and the user manual. You can get the device in silver, snake skin, camo, black as well as black & orange.
A thing worth mentioning is that the Aero Mesh coils are fully compatible with any of the SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast coils.
Design particularities
Design-wise the GeekVape Aegis Legend is a very beautiful mod. The body is made from stainless steel powder metallurgy on top, die cast aluminum on the sides, carbon steel on the base, and silicone and leather on the front and back.
On top of the mod we have a solid 510 connector fitted with a spring loaded center pin. This will accommodate atomizers up to 30mm in diameter without overhang and it's built to last. Next to the connector we have the micro-USB slot, which has been sealed off with a rubber cap.
The buttons are made from zinc die casting alloys and are placed on the main side. Here's also were you will find the lovely colored display. Battery door is placed on the base and it completely seals off the cells with its outer rubber gasket.
The chip and main features
Powering the GeekVape Aegis Legend box mod is the all new AS chipset, which is able of outputting up to 200W at lighting fast speeds. The device also features temperature control for Nickel, Titanium and Stainless Steel, a TCR option, Bypass mode and power curves.
The firmware is upgrade-able and you can easily change the color of the display or adjust its brightness. Besides looks, the most important feature of this mod is its IP67 waterproof capabilities. This means it can be submerged to a depth of 1m under water for up to 30 minutes without suffering any damage. It's also mildly shock resistant and will withstand a few common drops without issue.
The lovely Aero Mesh Tank
With the GeekVape Aegis Legend starter kit you also get the Aero Mesh Tank in matching color. This sub ohm tank uses mesh technology inside its 0.2 Ohm coil for a smoother, richer and more fulfilling vape experience. It has a capacity of 4ml with the standard glass and of 5ml with the bubble glass attachment. The atomizers are fully compatible with SMOK TFV8 Baby Beast coils and they deliver great vapor and flavor. It comes with top fill and airflow adjustment at the base.

Build quality is amazing, the design is very luxurious and the tank matches the mod in all aspects. Vapor production and flavor are insane and it supports future firmware upgrades.
