Made in the USA – the best e-liquid money can buy
The global e-cigarette market is constantly growing and with so many vape shops and online stores it’s hard to keep track of what you’re buying and if you get the quality you pay for. Most of the ecig electronics are made in China as well as the majority of accessories. It is the birth place of the electronic cigarette and also the supplier for the majority of the global demand. But while some companies import both ecigarettes and eliquids from China, the more respected brands realized that this gives very little control over the quality of the general vaping experience and decided to make their own nicotine based cocktails right here in the USA
E-liquid, or ‘ejuice’, is a mixture of about four different ingredients of varying quantities: Water, Nicotine, PG (Propylene Glycol) or VG (Vegetable Glycerin) and flavoring. It is one of the essentials when it comes to vaping and it’s what makes those thick clouds of aromatic vapor that you love so much.
While not all of the imported ejuices are bad, most of them don’t offer the quality control they are bragging with and many of the ingredients used in their batches are lower grade and untraceable. But when it comes to the retail price, nothing beats Chinese e-liquids and this fact cannot be neglected by some of the companies that are looking for a quick profit. The lure of these retailers may be the price, but even that is deceiving for you have to pay a hefty shipping cost, custom fee’s to get it in the US and broker fees to do the paperwork for customs. So, in reality the price for the lower grade ingredients from China ends up being almost as expensive as the premium e liquids manufactured in the USA.
Premium e-liquids are usually produced under strict guidelines, because manufactures realize that the FDA will be implementing regulations pertaining to the manufacture of ejuices and manufactures are preparing to meet those specifications. Words like ‘premium’, ‘organic’, and ‘natural’ in front of their e-liquids, give the understanding that the manufacture is from the United States and they want to distinguish themselves from other imported e-liquids.
Pharmaceutical, Kosher and food grade ingredients are what leading manufacturers use when making their e-liquids. Also all of their ingredients are FDA approved and also FEMA GRAS approved. Some brands even update their website with regular quality control bulletins on the eliquid batches they test. This ensures their clients of the dedication and the high standards the brand is using. But be careful of retailers stating their e liquids are RoHS and CE compliant because these two are industry standards on electronic cigarettes and not e-liquids, more specifically meaning that the e-cigarettes were not manufactured with PBB (polybrominated diphenyl) and PBDE (polybrominated dephenyl ether).
So with this things in mind, it’s better to be safe than sorry so we always recommend premium e-liquids for your ecig because nothing beats high quality and it’s always best to know what you’re paying for.
