Prices of E-cigarettes

E-cigarettes are getting more popular every day. Already a quarter of all smokers in the United States tried smoking electronic cigarettes in 2011 only while in 2010 it was not even half. Although the results of 2012 aren’t public yet, we think this number has double this current year.

R.J. Reynolds Vapor Co. introduced his e-cigarette this summer while Philip Morris is working on their own electronic smoking device as well. Electronic cigarettes, also named e-cigarettes, turn out to be a pretty good alternative for smokers. The e-cigarettes look almost the same as any other tobacco cigarette, but it does not contain any tobacco. In fact, the ‘normal’ white e-cigarette often gets mistaken for being a tobacco cigarette.

The liquid inside an electronic cigarette contains propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, flavoring and off course nicotine. The amount of the ingredients depends on the fabric and the kind of electronic cigarette you buy. Some contain a lot of nicotine while others don’t contain any. It’s up the customer to decide how much nicotine they want to inhale.

The prices of e-cigarettes are also variable. Some e-cigarettes can be bought for only 10 dollar while other brands sell their electronic cigarettes for 70 dollar or even more. Most expensive e-cigarettes can be refilled though. Although prices vary, pre-filled liquid cartridges usually cost a few dollars. The cartridges last about as long as a pack of normal cigarettes.

The flavor of the e-cigarettes depends on the liquid inside the e-cigarette. It’s available in hundreds kinds of different flavors. Retailers use appealing names to lure the customers to by their electronic cigarettes. Names like Cuban Supreme, Mocha Madness and Cotton Candy are used often. Most of the brands create the names based on what they think will attract teenagers, because teenagers are still the most wanted group. The prices of favors vary from a couple of dollars till about 10 dollar.
